Polestar is headquartered in Toslanda, right outside of Gothenburg, Sweden. In 2015 the company was acquired by Volvo (which was acquired by Geely in 2010) and began shifting into the company we recognize today. The company was founded in 1996 by Volvo’s partner Flash/Polestar Racing, a Swedish performance racing team.
